Captain Rockhopper

Rockhopper is the main Club Penguin character. He is a red penguin that wears a pirate hat, eyebrows and a beard. He also wears a pirate ship background. Every few weeks, Rockhopper and his red puffle Yarr moor their ship (the Migrator) at the Dock. Players can go onto the ship and recieve a free pirate item. He also brings other items. Usually, only members can buy these other items. If players meet Rockhopper, they will get a free Rockhopper background. He once gave out eyepatches. Rockhopper writes about his travels in his journal, which can be read on his ship. The ship was damaged in January 2008.

Aunt Arctic

Aunt Arctic is the main reporter for the newspaper. She is green and she wears a pink toque and glasses. Players can not meet Aunt Arctic in the game, unless they are doing the first secret mission. She has lots of puffles. Players can send Aunt Arctic a question in the newspaper and she may answer it. However, it is unlikely your question will be published. It is also unlikely that anyone will ever meet Aunt Arctic, while not doing a mission. She always organises the annual easter egg hunt. She was introduced to Club Penguin in May 2006.

Gary the Gadget Guy

Gary is better known as G. G is the town inventor. He makes many inventions that you can see around Club Penguin. His inventions include the Jet Pack, the Pizzatron 3000, the AC 3000 and the Jack Hammer 3000. He also works for the Penguin Secret Agency. He made the Spy Phone that all agents have. Despite many peoples’ thoughts, G is NOT the leader of the PSA. He is blue. He wears an turquoise shirt, a brown tie, a labcoat and circular spectacles. G’s office is at the Sport Shop. He also has a room above the Sport Shop. He is in all the current missions, but you can not meet him outside of the missions.

Bambadee

Bambadee is a light blue penguin, who wears a friendship bracelet. He thought he had no friends in Club Penguin so he snuck onto the Migrator. When Rockhopper found him, he took Bambadee back to Club Penguin and all the other penguins said they had only teased him because they were jealous of his colourful friendship bracelet, but were too shy to ask about it. Bambadee told them he made it himself and made more for everyone. You can get your own friendship bracelet at the Book Room, on the last page of Rockhopper and the Stowaway. You can not meet him.

The Penguin Band

The Penguin Band are a group of four penguins that sometimes preform at Club Penguin parties. The band’s leader is called G-Billy. He is dark blue and plays the drums. Franky (a yellow guitarist), Stompin’ Bob (a red double base player) and Petey K (a green pianist) are also in the band. There is a story about them in the Book Room called Franky’s First Show. They also appear in one of the stories in Penguin Tales Spring ’07. The Penguin Band have preformed in the Night Club, at the Beach and in the Lighthouse.

Herbert P. Bear

Herbert is one of the few Club Penguin characters that is not a penguin. He is a polar bear and is the main villan. He used to live in the Arctic Circle, but he got fed up of the freezing climate. He jumped on and iceberg and planned to drift away. However, while he was near Club Penguin, his iceberg tipped. He was rescued by a crab, named Klutzy. They planned to burn down the Ski Lodge and make a huge warming bonfire, but their plan was foiled by the PSA. He and Klutzy live in a cave in the Wilderness.

Rookie

“Rookie” is an agent that works for the PSA. He was first seen in Mission 3, when he was put in charge of guarding the Gift Shop Vault. He forgot the combination and got a bit upset, but then he realised we all make mistakes. Rookie now works as the Public Relations officer for the PSA. It is his job to make public announcments abot missions. He is green and he wears a red propeller cap and a pair of red sunglasses. Rookie is often forgetful, but he is dedicated to being an agent and will always try his best to ensure fun for everyone.

The Sensei

The Sensei is a grey penguin with a white beard and eye brows that wears a cone like hat and leads ninjas in their quest to master Card-Jitsu. You can talk to him in the Dojo to recieve your starter deck of Card-Jitsu cards. Once you become a black belt, you must challenge Sensei to gain full ninja powers. The Sensei is a master at Card-Jitsu and will beat anyone that challenges him unless they are a skilled ninja like him.
