Ninjas
Ninjas are penguins who train in the art of Card Jitsu, a fun game of skill and intelligence, which is played using playing cards with the power of fire, water or snow. Ninjas are penguins of stealth and secrecy and they are lead by Sensei, an old and wise penguin, who teaches them their skills. Ninjas train and learn at the Dojo, which is hidden high in the mountains of Club Penguin. Ninja masters can also train in the Ninja Hideout.
Earning Your Belts
In order to become a ninja, you must earn your ninja belts by practicing Card Jitsu with other trainee ninjas. If you practise for a long time you will move through the ninja belts and advance in skill. The more matches you play, the closer you will be to your black belt! The belts you must earn are: white, yellow, orange, green, blue, red, purple, brown and finally, black. Once you have earnt your final belt, you must challenge the Sensei. If you beat him, you will recieve your ninja mask and gain access to the Ninja Hideout.
How to Play Card Jitsu
In the game of Card Jitsu, penguins draw special elemental cards. To beat your opponent, your card must be of the element that defeats your’s opponent’s card’s element. Fire beats snow, snow beats water and water beats fire. If both players draw cards of the same element, then the number on the card will be used to decide the winner. To win, you must beat your opponent three times, with either one of each element or three cards of the same element. Try using your special card to get the upper hand in your matches!
The Ninja Hideout
The Ninja Hideout is a secret room where ninja masters can train further and hone their skills. The hideout is accesible through a secret door in the Dojo Courtyard, which can only be opened by penguins who have earned their ninja mask. In the Ninja Hideout, there is a catalog called Martial Artworks in which members can buy special ninja clothing and great decorations which can be used to make private dojos in igloos.
Ninja History
Ninjas were a long running myth of Club Penguin, having briefly existed in early versions of the game. Since then, various ninja legends built up, but there ninjas were never actually available. Until a storm rendered the Dojo damaged and a mysterious grey penguin asked for penguins help to repair it. In return for their help, he shared with them the art of Card Jitsu and ninjas were finally available.
